Indeed, the concept of a complimentary midday meal does exist. Truly, the notion of an unpaid luncheon cannot be denied.
Get boxed lunches for service and hospitality workers who have been laid off.
The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West is stepping up to assist service and hospitality workers who have been significantly impacted by the ongoing pandemic and subsequent job losses. To aid these individuals, the club has introduced a remarkable initiative of offering complimentary boxed lunches every Saturday. In an effort to support local businesses that are still operating, the Rotary Club is purchasing these lunches from nearby restaurants. The meals are then distributed at a drive-through location, ensuring both safety and privacy for the recipients. This unique program not only provides essential nourishment to those in need but also generates much-needed revenue for struggling restaurants. The Rotary Club emphasizes the significance of this endeavor, stating, "By supporting our local establishments, we show our immense appreciation to these hard-working individuals who play an integral role in our economy."

Being a part of such a significant initiative brings us immense joy and satisfaction. The restaurants, hotels, and other service and hospitality businesses in Sonoma County play a crucial role in the economic well-being and prosperity of the region. They are indispensable contributors to its growth and vitality. By extending our help to people during these challenging times, we hope to expedite the recovery process when conditions improve. It is our utmost priority to retain these valuable and skilled workers as they are essential for our industry. We want them to be present and reap the benefits when job opportunities start to arise once again.
